NOVEMBER TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

Fiesta "Jamboree" - November 41

The hardest of the three formats, the alternate shot, proved to be the difference as the team of Tracy Packer, Dave Brown, Josh Clark and Peggy Kosik posted a 58 to win annual Fiesta "Jamboree." This was the last "major" event for 2017. There were 56 players that participated in this popular event that included three formats: scramble, shamble and alternate shot. Second place, at 61.5 and winning a 3 team card-off, went to the team of Allen Fude, Barry Pontious, Bill Blakely and Vickie Chatigny while the third spot went to Steve Dembkowski, Todd Dietzen, Kathy May and Pam Martin. Closest to the Pin winners included Don Anton & Roz Harrison on Hole #6 and Ray Martin & Roz Harrison on Hole #11. In the exciting 4-hole Horserace after play, Chris Brewer, Don Noseworthy, Mike Carpenter and Jim Adams outlasted the field and hung on for a hard-fought victory.

face="Arial,Helvetica" size=2>Sunday Couples - November 5

Cold, windy conditions greeted the Couples in November and by a unanimous agreement, the event was postponed until December. The final couples event of 2017 is set for Sunday, December 3 and will be a Best Ball gross and net. Entry fee is $10 per couple and is an Open "T". Advance times may be made after 9:00 a.m. or you can show up and the Golf Shop staff will pair couples up as they arrive.

Men's and Women's Eclectic - November 11/12 and 18/19

In back to back weekends the Men and Women conducted their 2-day eclectic events. For the women, Mary Ann Blakely took the gross in the "A" Flight while Roz Harrison was the net winner. Karon Blalock won the "B" Flight gross while Vickie Chatigny took the net title. For the men, Larry Hackney won the gross in the "A" Flight with a 72 while Chris Brewer was the net champion with a 64. In the "B" Flight, Denis Moon was the gross champ with a 79 while Terry Malam was the net winner with a 62. There were 24 players in this second Men's Eclectic.

ACES, ACES, ACES, ACES, ACES!!!

There were no other Hole-In-Ones to report for the month of November. If you are still seeking that first ace or just want to add to your collection, make sure that you are in the men's or ladies' Hole-In-One Clubs or buying those drinks on a busy Saturday could get rather expensive. For further information, contact one of the Golf Shop staff for assistance.
